Wednesday 10th February 2016.

De-foresting and a bit of sun allowed a ride along Railway Terrace footpaths by Compton Reservoir Bury earlier. Megalithic walls – railway built – and one or two short tunnels under or near the viaduct add a few yards to bike/pedestrian routes. Old machinery by reservoir now well out of place!
Riding here is okay but there are (modern?) flights of steps. Tricky but not impossible with a bike. It gets impassable here when Balsam is in bloom.
A short ‘video’, taken 25th February 2016, of tunnel and paths at Wellington St. Viaduct Page.
