There are quite a few trees, as the one in the picture, along the Radcliffe canal side. Not exactly an oopart but Oak trees, as that, are unusual – especially young ones. If allowed to grow naturally the branches from that tree may extend right over the canal – as older ones do at the Bury end.
Further along the tow-path and trees are everywhere. And this area being five minutes walk from bus-stops makes it all an oopart!
