Despite endless (ten minutes!) planning with A to Zeds and Google Earth, things can still go wrong when out in the field. Things can look far differently when riding along on a bike or carrying one up a steep muddy incline.
But, passing the two ancient megaliths, that remind me of a god at Tiahuanaco, while here seem to be guarding something, (they are – an electricity pylon is ten yards away!) a junction by an old bridge is reached. The right fork is the canal tow-path, but what is down the left hand fork?
